On September 12th, Campaign Zero co-founder and former Baltimore mayoral candidate Deray McKesson dropped into NYU’s Fall 2016 Black Lives Matter seminar. McKesson engaged students in a rousing discussion about an internal debate that continues to go on within the movement for black lives: the question of reform “vs” abolition.
