On October 20, 2016 actor and activist Kendrick Sampson (co-star of How To Get Away With Murder; Vampire Diaries) and BLM professor Frank Leon Roberts will engage students in a dialogue about Election 2016. Sampson has been a leading Hollywood surrogate for former Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders and a vocal ally for the Black Lives Matter movement—and racial and social justice more broadly. Kendrick will be joining us in person to discuss Election 2016 as well as reflecting on the important role that artists, actors, and athletes are playing in the movement for black lives.
The discussion will take place in person in NYU’s Black Lives Matter seminar.
The event will be stream lived on October 20th beginning at 6pm on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/c/BlackLivesMatterNewYorkUniversity/live
