Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, Distinguished Professor of African American Studies at Morehouse College and Host of VH1 Live, joined students in NYU’s Black Lives Matter Seminar for a rousing two and a half hour discussion about the past, present, and future of the movement for black lives. Dr. Hill spoke about the issues raised in his riveting new book, Nobody: Casualties of America’s War on the Vulnerable–from Ferguson to Flint and Beyond, as well as what’s at stake morally, politically, and ethically in our present moment.
